About us
Wooyung Beach Motel
& Caravan Park is owned and managed by the
Cherry family over 40 years and now in its third generation. The family has a long tradition in country living, and
the values that come with that tradition are evident at the park.
This results in a friendly, casual, and natural environment at Wooyung.
It's the perfect place to relax and absorb the fresh air, and enjoy the
sweet smell and sounds of the bush and the Pacific Ocean.

Beach Motel & Caravan Park is one of the very few remaining
bush camping grounds on the Australian East Coast. It
is located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, about 20 minutes north
of Byron Bay and 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast airport.
We have more than 10km of unspoiled beaches in front of our doorstep.
With the
next township being 7km away, the star gazing is spectacular. Other
popular activities include bird and whale watching as well as beach or creek fishing.
